Sarah GardnerSoprano Sarah Gardner has received accolades for the rare power and richness of her voice along with her acute musicianship and multi-layered interpretations. She currently resides in Berwick, Pennsylvania where she is an active regional artist. Most recently, she was featured as Sister Rose from Dead Man Walking in Opera Fayetteville’s January 2013 production. Opera credits include the title role in Suor Angelica, Lady Billows (Albert Herring), Mother (Hansel and Gretel), Alma March (Little Women) and 1st Lady (Die Zauberflöte), and scenes as the Marschallin (Der Rosenkavalier), Leonora (La forza del destino), Salome (Hérodiade), Leonore (Fidelio), Tosca (Tosca), Magda (The Consul) and Alice Ford (Falstaff).

Ms. Gardner was a semi-finalist in the 2010 National Orpheus Competition held in Murfreesboro, TN, the winner of the 2008 Akron Symphony Orchestra Chorus Competition and the second place winner of the Columbus Italian-American Competition. She obtained her Master of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and her Bachelor of Music from Georgia State University.

Ms. Gardner also maintains a private studio in Northeastern Pennsylvania and serves as faculty for the Ferrwood Music Camp and choir director for First United Methodist Church in Berwick, PA.
