Brindley McWhorterBrindley McWhorter, a New Orleans native, is a senior Vocal Performance major in the studio of Ellen Frohnmayer. She also studied composition for two years under the tutelage of Dr. James MacKay. She has appeared in four Loyola Opera Theatre productions: as the Grand Duchess in The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein; as the Newspaper Lady in Les Mamelles de Tirésias; and as the Squirrel in L’Enfant et les sortileges. She was the mezzo soloist in both the Loyola Chorale’s performance of Handel’s Messiah, and Loyola University Chorus’ performance of Mozart’s Requiem. She has also been featured with the New Orleans Opera’s popular “Opera on Tap” series.
