Blythe ReedBlythe is a recent graduate from Loyola University New Orleans where she majored in Music Therapy and Psychology. Blythe has been active in singing in choir and studying music since the age of 9. She began performing in musical theater productions in middle school casted as a lead in “Cinderella,” “Toy Camp,” and “Annie.” Since then, Blythe has been cast as a lead in fifteen more music theater productions. During college, she began taking voice lessons and soon found a passion for singing Opera. Blythe was cast as lead soprano in Loyola’s productions of “The Duchess of Gerolstein” and requested to sing Master Classes for world renowned opera singers such as Brian Hymel and Barbara Daniels. She has studied with the International Performing Arts Institute in Germany and has been an active chorus member of the New Orleans Opera Association since 2010. Blythe is currently pursuing her graduate degree.
